Ms. Grantham currently sees client's who range in age from 5-65 in individual, couples, or family counseling. Some areas she finds particularly rewarding are: relationship issues, parenting concerns (including ADHD), stage of life transitions, grief and loss, as well as depression and anxiety. During the first session, Ms. Grantham conducts an interview to gather vital information while also developing a trusting relationship with each client. Rapport is the key to her successful use of a variety of therapeutic methods including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy (adult and child play therapy), Mindfulness and Meditation; Internal Family Systems Therapy, Ericksonian Brief Psychotherapy & Hypnosis, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Ms. Grantham graduated Summa Cum Laude from UNC at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. She completed a one-year internship with Hospice in Gaston County, a 2nd one-year internship with Gaston Memorial Hospitals inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization psychiatric programs. She completed her NC State Licensure requirements as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker while working in an outpatient mental health facility and in a private practice setting.
